An easy-to-use seasoning mix for preparing classic Indonesian-style Kare with a savory blend of turmeric, shallot, garlic, candlenut, and coconut milk. Pair it with beef or chicken, and add potatoes and carrots for a hearty homemade curry

Cooking Instructions

1. Prepare ½ kg beef, cut into desired pieces. Potato and carrot may also be added. Prepare fried shallots as garnish.
2. Stir-fry 1 sachet of Racik Kare seasoning until fragrant. Add the beef and stir evenly until the meat changes color and releases its juices.
3. Add 2–3 cups of water (approximately 500–750 ml) and stir well. Cook until the beef is tender and the sauce thickens, approximately 30–60 minutes, or as desired.
4. Add potato and carrot, if using, and continue cooking until tender.
5. Serve hot and garnish with fried shallots.

Also suitable for chicken: Use 1 sachet for ½ kg chicken (5–6 pieces).
